The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services on the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it truly is alarmed regarding the high number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access sassa status check SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office devoted to service the area on a regular basis. The services level created for intervention encounters a significant inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to empower the servicing of all buyers and boost access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
